Translating English scripts into foreign languages is a skill. Understanding framerates, speech condensing, cadence, and having a sound that draws you in and achieves an enjoyable viewer experience – is an artform.
Our video editors, subtitling team and voiceover artists work can edit and tweak the language to fit neatly and flow smoothly so that any audience can enjoy the full effect of your message.
Audio Transcription and Audio Translation
This is the process of typing up the audio or video dialogue in the language that is heard. The simplest example of this is typing up the content of an English interview or narration, in English.
Review and translation of the script comes next. This is to make the content absolutely clear and remove any ambiguity or possible gaps in understanding. We can translate directly from an audio file, from one language into another, however, this method is often more time consuming and therefore expensive for the client. Working from a script is best.
It sounds easy, but audio translation takes several sweeps through the soundtrack and checking and rechecking to make sure everything is 100% perfect. A 3-minute audio can take several hours to translate depending on ‘speech density’, audio clarity and complexity of the subject matter.
